When we get work done on our house we prioritize quality over everything else. When we moved into the neighborhood a year ago, we noticed the quality work Ed was doing on other yards around us. We got his name through those people recommending him. Not only does Ed do quality work, he’s a good dude. He’s super honestly, friendly, and keeps you in the loop with everything. We were extremely pleased with the work him and his crew did at our house. We will use him for everything yard related from here out and highly recommend him to anyone looking to have yard work done.

We can't speak highly enough for the wonderful work that Ed Johnson and his crew have done for us. Ed worked with us to pick out very low maintenance plants as well as turn our backyard into an oaisis. We now have a beautiful flagstone walkway to the backyard and a nice paver patio across the entire back of the house. They installed a dry creekbed which really helped with some drainage problems and installed trees for privacy and pollinator friendly and beautiful plants. Ed was in constant communication with us during the entire project. The crew was respectful and kept the place immaculate, cleaning up every day. His work in the front yard has definitely increased our curb appeal. We brought Ed back for a second project recently to install Magnolia trees in the espalier fashion along the side of the house, which turned out great. I would highly recommend Buford Landscaping & Designs for any of your landscape needs.

I cannot speak highly enough about the transformation of our lawn thanks to Ed Johnson and his team from Buford Landscaping & Designs! Communication, attention to detail, execution of the plan--every step of the process was better than I could have imagined. He listened to my thoughts and preferences while making suggestions and providing feedback based on his expertise. Most importantly, the quality of the work is top-tier. Look no further if you are in need of landscaping service! (We will definitely be using him again as I'm now inspired by the beauty of this work to dream into the next "project.")

Once again Ed Johnson and his crew did an excellent job for us. They completely removed an old retaining wall and installed a beautiful new one in addition to completely redoing our drainage issues. They also landscaped several areas of our yard and we heartily give our highest recommendation !

I have used Ed for several plant installations and for lawn maintenance, and I can't say enough good things about him. He always returns my calls timely, arrives when he says he will (or communicates in advance if there is a delay), and does great work. He addressed any issues I had with plants not thriving and left the work site neat and clean. His pricing is very fair. I have used other landscape companies in the past, and none have provided the quality and service Ed has. He will continue to be my go-to for landscaping needs.

I have worked with Ed Johnson over the last couple of years on several projects. I can only recommend him as the best. Highly professional, easy to work with, a great eye for design, as well as honestly assessing the scope of a project to achieve the customer’s objectives. He knows his stuff, will collaborate with you to overcome obstacles and go beyond to implement your vision. And very importantly, he is so easy to work with. He has his clients wishes foremost. Bottom line, I would not recommend anyone else.

Ed and his Team did spectacular work. Ed listened really well to our ideas and preferences. Ed gave us feedback and additional ideas. Ed and his Team built us a new retaining wall after they demoed the original retaining wall. Ed installed flagstone steps, a paver walkway, beautiful Zoysia sod, and he coordinated the installation of new irrigation. Ed paid attention to detail and high quality. Ed kept our yard neat as he worked. Ed and his Team cleared out our back natural area for us and our neighbor. Ed really cares about you and his work. Our experience was awesome, and we would highly recommend his work for anyone. Ed is also a great communicator. We could not ask for more.

We recently had Buford Landscaping & Design do major changes to our landscaping. The project included a redesign of several plant beds and arrangements, plus extensive lawn maintenance to our front yard. The work included transplanting some existing trees and shrubs, and the establishment of a garden plot. Rock and drainage work were also part of the overall plan. The whole project took three days to complete, and the results are outstanding! We can't say enough on how diligent and professional the work crew were. The owner was on site the entire time for the project, and constantly worked with us for minor changes to ensure we were totally satisfied. We strongly recommend Buford Landscaping & Design, and will use them again for future projects. Simply outstanding!

Ed did a great job communicating with us and working with us on a plan to get our yard heading in the right direction. We discussed options and he didn’t just tell us the most expensive, we also expressed our desire for low maintenance and then drainage issues, he helped us create a plan, shows us pictures and when we changed some minor things throughout the process, didn’t charge us more just helped. Pictures attached, for reference, we added some large stone down fence line for erosion, redid the bed with the stone edging, they relocated our old plants up around the transformer box and then added boulders in our beds to help fill. Japanese maple was already there and the toms were too. Yard was a mess so they top dressed, aerated and added sod to the places that needed it. This is fresh, but hoping for it to come in beautifully! Hope to do the backyard next!
